What you’ll be doing...

The Lead Project Management Specialist will manage and oversee Verizon activities for an assigned customer account. This position is responsible for delivery commitments and resources to ensure profitability for Verizon is achieved, customer satisfaction is met and contractual commitments are met.

• Responsible for all aspects of the development & implementation of more than one large project and provides a single point of contact for those projects - original concept thru final implementation.
• Responsible for delivery of services within statement of work or contractual commitment.
• Accountable for ensuring the overall client solution is supportable within the Verizon framework of services and service level agreements.
• Coordination and hosting meetings with customer, vendors and Verizon account team.
• Engagement and management of internal/external resources required to complete tasks associated with fulfillment requests.
• Responsible for review, triage, acceptance, tracking, and submission of customer requests. Owner from conception through validation and internal approval.
• Coordination of activities related to the installation of all services to the customer. Tracks request milestones from Order Management acceptance to close to bill.
• Document required site preparation requirements and work with Verizon's global engineering to communicate requirements to customer.
• Communicate status of implementation/project phases and track necessary Verizon deliverables.
• Accountable for the Service Relationship and the overall clients’ satisfaction with Verizon
• Maintain a working knowledge of the clients’ operations, and have the ability to work through business challenges by collaborating and leading project teams.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s Degree or two or more years of work experience.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:
• Experience in Project/Program Management related to network, managed services, CPE, security, applications, hosted/DCS services, IT services, Unified Communications
• Excellent organizational, verbal & written communication, problem solving & presentation skills
• 3+ years of demonstrated business to business customer service skills
• Familiar with complex, integrated solutions & how they achieve business outcomes
• 3+ years Project / Program Management experience
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Verizon customer enablement tools
• ITIL Foundations v3
• PMP certification
